Tricep Cable Pushdown

Primary Muscle : Triceps

Secondary Muscle : Shoulders, Chest, Back

Equipment Needed : Standing cable machine, straight-bar or angled bar attachment.

Mechanics Type : Isolation

Proper Technique:

Take a few steps back from the machine and use an overhand grip , hands space bar for a little more than shoulder with apart. You can also perform this movement with one foot in front of the other, if you feel more comfortable. Lean forward and start with the bar reaches forehead. Heavy lead weight class by extending the elbows. Make sure to keep your elbows close to your body at any time. Once you have locked elbows at the bottom, tighten the triceps and then return the bar back to the starting position by touching the forehead.

Tips : 

Make sure to flow naturally throughout this movement leaning forward while driving the weight up to your waist. Moving naturally be able to use more weight and maximize muscle stimulation . Also remember to use a full range of motion , so the bar all the way and lock leading rolls in the bottom of the movement.
