Tricep Dips

Primary Muscle : Triceps

Secondary Muscle : Chest, Shoulders

Equipment Needed : Dip Stand (weight belt and dumbbell if needed)

Mechanics Type : Compound

Proper Technique:

Dip bars on the width of the shoulders and start moving your body with the arms fully extended and straight grip. Lower your body until your arms are parallel to the ground like a short break at the bottom, and then drive your body back up triceps are fully contracted and locked. 

Tips:

Make sure not to pinch bars too high as this change the focus of the triceps chest. Also remember to stand throughout the movement, instead of leaning forward. If you can perform more than 7 reps with body weight and weight with a belt to add additional strength.
